Lactobacillus acidophilus 100 million viable cells, estriol 0.03 mg

Indications/Uses

Restoration of lactobacillus flora after anti-infective/chemotherapeutic treatment; atrophic vaginitis due to estrogen deficiency, as co-medication to hormone replacement therapy; vag discharge of unknown origin or mild to moderate cases of bacterial vaginosis & candidiasis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Restoration therapy, vag discharge, vag infections 1-2 vag tab/day for 6-12 days. Atrophic vaginitis 1 vag tab/day for 6-12 days. Maintenance dose: 1 vag tab at 1-2 days/wk.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Estrogen-dependent tumors, endometriosis, vag hemorrhaging of unknown origin, females who are not yet sexually mature.

Adverse Reactions

Local irritation (mild stinging or burning).

Drug Interactions

Lactobacillus acidophilus is sensitive to anti-infective agents.
