Dosage/Direction for Use

Duodenal ulcer 1 cap daily for 2-4 wk. Eradication of H. pylori 20 mg once daily or 40 mg daily in 1-2 divided doses w/ antibiotics. Gastric ulcer, reflux esophagitis 1 cap daily for 4-8 wk. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome Initially 3 cap once daily.

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach.

Adverse Reactions

Rarely, headache, GI disturbances; skin rash.

Drug Interactions

Prolongs elimination of diazepam, phenytoin & warfarin.
