Ambroxol HCl
Indications/Uses
Acute & chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated w/ abnormal mucus secretion & impaired mucus transport.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Mucosolvan tab Adult 1 tab tid or 2 tab bid. Mucosolvan PL cap Adult 1 cap daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Retard cap: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.
Special Precautions
Galactose (for Mucosolvan tab) intolerance. Severe skin lesions eg, Stevens-Johnson syndrome & Lyell's syndrome.
Adverse Reactions
Mild GI effects & allergic reactions.
